DRESS REGULATIONS: For the purpose of these Dress Regulations, formal and informal areas of
the Club are defined as follows:
FORMAL Areas of the Club
ISLAND: Front Hall, Lounge, Patricia Room, Ballroom,
Dining Room, Ballroom Verandah, Flagship Room, and Commodores'
Room
CITY: Model Room, Foyer, Dining Room,
Commodores' Room, Canada Room, and Mezzanine Gallery
INFORMAL Areas of the Club
ISLAND: Sailors Bar, and Ovens Room
CITY: Galley, Crown & Beaver, Chart Room, and
Fleet Room
DRESS STANDARDS FOR FORMAL AREAS
GENTLEMEN'S PROPER ATTIRE:
T he minimum dress requirement for gentlemen is smart
casual attire (ie. A shirt with a collar and sleeves; long
trousers or dress shorts no more than 3" above the knee). Note:
jeans, non-dress shorts, cut-offs, tank tops or bathing suits
are not considered appropriate attire. After 6:00 pm: Jacket;
shirt with collar and sleeves; and dress pants are required.
LADIES' PROPER ATTIRE:
The minimum dress requirement for ladies is smart
casual attire (ie. a dress, skirt, slacks, or walking shorts
with a blouse, sweater or tunic). Note: jeans, cut-offs, micro
mini skirts, tank tops, or bathing suits are not considered
appropriate attire.
After 6:00 pm: Dress, skirt, divided skirt, or dress pants with
a blouse, sweater, or tunic with/without a jacket.
JUNIORS: Juniors aged ten
and over shall dress in accordance with the adult regulations.
Children aged nine and under should wear neat and clean casual
clothes.
SPECIAL EVENTS: Each
special event will be advertised with its own dress code.

Many members use the Social Areas of the
Club for the entertainment of guests. Accordingly, all members
are requested to be considerate of their fellow members and
their guests in their selection of attire when traveling on the
